KENNEDY — A 27-year-old North Tonawanda woman was charged Sunday with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a crash on Route 394.

According to New York State Police, Montana Allison’s vehicle had exited the south shoulder of the roadway for no apparent reason, entered a ditch, struck a mailbox, jumped a driveway and re-entered the ditch before coming to rest. Allison was found to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested, transported to the Ellery Troopers’ barracks and found to have a .19 percent blood alcohol content.

Allison was processed and arraigned in the Town of Poland Court where she was released after posting bail. She is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Poland Court next month.
