FREDONIA — New York State Police say an early morning traffic stop on Route 60 led them to a bag of cocaine and some marijuana — and resulted in charges for a Dunkirk male and a Fredonia female.

According to NYSP, Jesse Koch, 20, was pulled over on Route 60 for several traffic violations and while speaking to Koch, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Koch was searched and found to be in possession of a bag containing cocaine and a bag containing 1.5 grams of marijuana.
Passenger Jessica Reynolds, 24, was searched and found to be in possession of a pipe containing marijuana residue. Reynolds was issued and appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana and released. Koch was transported to SP Fredonia, processed and issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets.

Both Koch and Reynolds are scheduled to appear in the Town of Pomfret Court later in the month to answer the charges.
