CHEEKTOWAGA — The Cheektowaga Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman they believe may scammed her way into possessing three iPhones.
According to police, the woman, described as “as a Hispanic female in her early 20’=s” possibly used a forged license and passport to access a victim’s cell phone account and purchase the three iPhones from a local retail store.
The woman was last seen leaving the store in a silver, mid-size, SUV. The store’s camera datestamp is 3:43 p.m. on Nov. 1.
