BUFFALO — A 36-year-old Buffalo woman was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on SR 33.

According to New York State Police, Kimberly Hunter was stopped for speeding. Troopers report that they could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage on Hunter’s breath. She failed field sobriety test and was taken into custody, where she was found to have a blood alcohol content of .22 percent.

Hunter was released on tickets and is scheduled to appear in the City of Buffalo Court later this month.
