SCIO — A 39-year-old Olean man was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and driving without a license following a traffic stop on State Route 417.
According to New York State Police, Christopher J. Spiller was stopped on State Route 417 near County Road 9 in the Town of Scio for a violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. While being interviewed, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on Spiller’s breath. SFSTs were conducted which Spiller subsequently failed. He was arrested and transported to SP Amity where he recorded a BAC of 0.13%. At the time of the stop, Spiller’s license was suspended.
He was released on tickets returnable to the Town of Scio Court on 11/29/2016 at 7:00PM.
