NAPOLI — A 27-year-old Frewsburg man was charged Saturday with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana after his vehicle was found off the side of the road.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a report of a vehicle off the road at the intersection of Jamestown and Hoxie Road. The driver, Lucas Burch, was placed under arrest after failing failing field sobriety tests. He was additionally charged with unlawful possession or marijuana after a bag of pot and a pipe was found in his vehicle.
Burch was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .18 percent. He was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the Town of Napoli Court and released. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Napoli Court next month to answer the charges.
