ALBANY — The University at Buffalo wrestling team kicked off the 2016-17 campaign today at the Journeyman Classic. Going up against some of the top competition in the nation, UB grapplers went a combined 27-13 and had five wrestlers go undefeated.

“We had a pretty good showing for the first weekend out,” head coach John Stutzman said.  “We beat guys from Wisconsin, North Carolina, Minnesota, Arizona State, and Ohio State. We are making progress and this event shows us just that.”
