BATAVIA — A 44-year-old Leroy man was charged Thursday with petit larceny and resisting arrest following an incident at Target.
According to New York State Police, Craig L. Fien Jr. passed all points of sale with a microwave and a vacuum cleaner when he was confronted by Target Security. Fien pushed past security and attempted to flee the premise. He was apprehended by an off duty police officer who detained him until Troopers arrived.
Fien was processed and arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and was remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $300 bail.
