Born on February 8, 1936 in Tonawanda, NY, Donald is the son of the late Elmer and Gladys (Wills) Freck. Donald had lived in the Gasport area for most of his life. He married Joyce Jones on April 28, 1962. Mrs. Freck died on April 2, 2012. He worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, retiring after 27 years. Donald enjoyed NASCAR, growing flowers and feeding and watching birds.
Surviving Don are three nieces, Audrey Jones, Bonnie Jones and Candy McQueen. He is also survived by several cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on November 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street, Middleport, NY. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Orleans County Hospice, or Orchard Manor Nursing Home.
