Clarence “Butch” Fry passed away November 4, 2016 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Born in Lockport October 1, 1930 he was the son of Burt and Laura (Lederhouse) Fry. Clarence served in the US Army from 1951 to 1953 and worked for the Niagara County Highway Department where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was an active volunteer fireman with the Rapids Volunteer Fire Co. for 68 years and enjoyed farming and hunting.

Clarence is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marjorie (Francis) Fry; two sons Bruce (Lee) Fry and James Fry; grandchildren Matthew (Judy) Fry, Andy (Carrie) Fry, Amy Fry, and Olivia Fry; siblings Donald (Myra) Fry, Roy Fry, Marjorie Singleton and late Doris Dietz, Lorraine Dysinger, Carol Lippert, Norman Fry, Warren Fry, Howard Fry, Glen Fry, Gordon Fry and Marvin Fry; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, Nov. 8th 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9th at 10 AM. Interment will be in Huskey Cemetery.
