ROCHESTER — The Rochester Red Wings are holding a birthday party for their mascot, Spikes at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 12 at Frontier Field.
The baseball club says all are invited but only the first 100 to respond to their open invitation will be admitted due to lack of space. RSVP via email to Info@RedWingsBaseball.com, including the names and number of guests in the email.
The party will include pizza, courtesy of Salvatore’s, cake and light refreshments for all guests. Each guest will have the chance to make a birthday card for Spikes and get a photo with the Birthday Bird. Spikes’ pals Mittsy and The Moose from the Rochester Americans will also be in attendance.
In lieu of a present for Spikes, the Red Wings are asking guests to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to Hillside’s Special Santa Program.
