TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 60-year-old Gasport woman was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated while at the Town of Lockport Court.
According to New York State Police, Janet L. Eagan had driven to the Town of Lockport Court to pick up bail money that she had previously posted on an unrelated charge. Eagan appeared to be intoxicated upon her arrival according to witnesses. Further investigation by Troopers confirmed Eagan showed signs of alcohol intoxication and she was placed under arrest after she failed field sobriety tests. She consented to a breath test at SP Lockport where she recorded a .11 blood alcohol content.
Eagan was arraigned in the Town of Lockport Court and released on her own recognizance.
