TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 32-year-old Lockport man was charged Thursday with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana following a crash on Transit Road.

According to New York State Police, Jason M. Snug was traveling southbound on Transit Road when his vehicle left the roadway striking a road sign and a telephone box. Subsequent to the accident investigation, Snug was found in possession of several unprescribed narcotic pills and a pipe containing marijuana residue. He was placed under arrest and transported to SP Lockport for processing.


Snug was arraigned in the Town of Lockport Court and remanded to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $1000 cash/$5000 bond bail.
