MINA — New York State Police charged a 65-year-old woman with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-86 on Sunday.
According to NYSP, Shelley Wyant was originally stopped for having illegal window tint when Troopers smelled marijuana in her vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, a jar containing marijuana, two marijuana cigarettes and a grinder containing marijuana residue were found.
Wyant was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Mina Court next month to answer the charge.
