BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Niagara women’s golf team completed the Lehigh Invitational on Monday. The team shot a total score of 327 (+39) for a total two-day score of 667 (+91) and finished in eighth place.

“We set a target score of 328 and shot 327 today,” said head coach Jason Polka. “I’m pleased that we beat our goal and am looking forward to using this momentum going into the spring season.”

Selena Cerra led the Purple Eagles, firing an 82 (+10) in round two for a total 36-hole score of 160 (+16). She finished tied for 15th place.

Emily Doyle shaved nine strokes off her round one score to card a 76 (+4) in round two. She tied for 21st place. Daniella Hopper carded a two-round total of 170 (+26) and finished tied for 35th.

Sarah Godfrey finished the tournament with a total score of 177 (+3) and took 43rd place. Britteny Purcell rounded out the Niagara group, finishing tied for 51st with a total of 186 (+42).

The Purple Eagles will take the course next in the spring.
