BUFFALO — A 35-year-old Buffalo man was charged with possession with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of crack cocaine following a criminal complaint. The charge carries a minimum penalty of five years and a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and a $5,000,000 fine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Laura Higgins, who is handling the case, stated that according to the complaint, Friday morning, a search warrant was executed at the Crowley Avenue home of Eli Clark, where police recovered approximately 250 grams of suspected crack cocaine inside Clark’s kitchen.

The defendant is being held pending a detention hearing scheduled for this morning.
