BUFFALO — Buffalo State served up 10 aces as it defeated host Medaille for the second time this season tonight, prevailing in straight sets.

Lauren Hansen (Blue Point/Bayport Blue Point) had a double-double with 12 kills and 16 digs. Eimile O’Brien (Marietta/Marcellus) added nine kills. Riley Chapman (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) chipped in 18 digs to go with four aces and four kills. Allie Harford (Silver Creek/Silver Creek) had three aces and two blocks. Katherine Marte (Ithaca/Ithaca) posted 28 assists, and Victoria Rigler (Amherst/Sweet Home) and Hanna Cormier (Ft. Edward/Warhill) finished with 12 and 11 digs respectively.

In all, Buffalo State had 34 kills to go with its 10 aces and had an attack percentage of 14.8.  Medaille had just three aces and 22 kills, and hit 0.8 percent.
                                                                                     
Buffalo State will travel to Cortland this weekend for the final round of SUNYAC play.  The Bengals will take on New Paltz on Friday at 7 pm. And will play Geneseo and Plattsburgh on Saturday.
