Paul R. Grimble of Newfane, NY husband of Linda Babcock Grimble entered into rest Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He was born in Lockport, NY the son of the late Weldon V. and Katherine Lardner Grimble.
Paul was a graduate of Lockport High School Class of 1951. Paul married Linda Babcock September 19, 1953. He worked for Local Union Pipefitters #22 and was a supervisor retiring in 1995. They have lived in the Newfane area all his life, a member of Lockport United Church of Christ. Paul was Scout Master for Lockport Troup, and was on the Board for Girl Scouts and was on the Camp Committee. He joined Newfane Lions Club in 1989, past president of Newfane Lions 1995-1996, past District Chairman, chairman of wheel chair ramps, Newfane Lions Club loan closet and tested children for hearing.
Father of Diane G. (Curtis) Kowalski of Lockport, David P. (Elizabeth Augustine) Grimble of Newfane, Janet (Dennis) Williams of Hampton, VA and Thomas (Claire) Grimble of Belmont, Mass. Brother of Karen Hood of North Carolina and the late Frances W. Grimble. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be in FRIDAY October 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lockport United Church of Christ 98 East Ave. Lockport, NY 14094. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum, Lockport, NY.
