Carol L. Robinson of Lockport, NY, passed away on October 14, 2016. She was born in Buffalo, NY on June 15, 1951, the daughter of the late Walter and Irene [Kwiatkowski] Zielinski.
Carol attended the University of Buffalo and then joined the US Air Force where she served her country for 20 years, where she attained the rank of Major. She enjoyed power walking with her husband and friends.
She is survived by her husband Clyde H. Ferguson and his sons Michael (Tina) Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, grandchildren Ava and Brendan Ferguson, brothers Walter (Suzanne) Zielinski and Geoffrey (Rose) Zielinski, sisters Diane Friedlander and Jennifer (Bill) Derrick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her family at the Bond Lake Athletic Club.
Her family will be present on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Matthew Kofahl and Rev. Daven Oskvig officiating with military honors to follow.
Memorials in her name may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
