Anthony H. “Tony” Liuzzi passed away October 11, 2016 in Absolut of Gasport. Born in Westfield, NY on March 16, 1932 he was the son of Salvatore and Raffaella (Viafora) Liuzzi Sr. Tony served in the US Marine Corp from 1951 to 1952 during Korea. He worked in maintenance at Rochester Products Div. of GM. Tony was a harness driver and also worked at both the Batavia and Hamburg Downs where he was a trainer and driver, and was a member of the USTA. He was an avid Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and Notre Dame fan.

Tony is survived by his wife Geraldine (Klino) Liuzzi; brother of Matthew Liuzzi and late John, Rose Agnello, Salvatore Jr., Michael, and Joseph Liuzzi; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 15th at 11 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Donations to the Wellsville SPCA or American Cancer Society or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
