ROCHESTER — Nazareth hit 30.3-percent, while Buffalo State struggled at the net with 22 errors compared to 18 kills, and the Golden Flyers defeated the visiting Bengals in straight sets tonight in a non-conference match.

Lauren Hansen (Blue Point/Bayport Blue Point) led Buffalo State with seven kills, and Eimile O’Brien (Marietta/Marcellus) was next with four. Victoria Rigler (Amherst/Sweet Home) led the backcourt with eight digs. Katherine Marte (Ithaca/Ithaca) finished with 17 assists.

Cady Messmer led Nazareth with 11 kills and two aces, and Delaney Martin added nine kills.
Maureen Thayer dished out 33 assists.

Buffalo State will play its final home match of the season on Thursday against Houghton at 6 p.m.
