BUFFALO — The Canisius athletic department will hold a special season ticket holder “Meet-and-Greet” Oct. 18 at Buffalo RiverWorks, located at 359 Ganson Street. The event will feature complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Canisius head coaches Reggie Witherspoon, Terry Zeh and Dave Smith will be on hand at the event to discuss the 2016-17 season. Witherspoon is entering his first year as the leader of the Canisius men’s basketball program, Zeh, the all-time winningest women’s basketball coach in school history, is starting his 13th season at the helm of the program and Smith is in his 12th year on the bench for the Canisius hockey program.
Parking at RiverWorks is free. Season ticket holders are asked to RSVP to Barb Zimmermann by Friday, Oct. 14. Reservations can be made by calling (716) 888-2972, or via email at zimmerm1@canisius.edu.
