PANAMA — A 28-year-old Ashville man was charged Thursday with second-degree criminal trespassing.

According to New York State Police, Matthew Mecusker arrived at a residence in Panama uninvited and pushed past the homeowner despite being advised that he wasn’t welcome. Mecusker eventually left the scene, was located in Panama by a State Police patrol and placed under arrest.

Mecusker was transported to SP Jamestown, processed and arraigned in the Town of Busti Court then released on his own recognizance. He scheduled to appear in the Town of Harmony next month to answer the charge.
