SCIO — A 22-year-old Wellsville woman was charged Sunday night with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana following a crash on County Route 31.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to the one-car roll over crash, where they interviewed Samantha J. Bailey and determined her to be intoxicated.
Bailey was treated for minor injures at Jones Memorial Hospital and released to the Troopers. Bailey was then processed at SP Amity where she recorded a .09 blood alcohol content. During the investigation, a small amount of marijuana and a smoking pipe were found in Bailey’s vehicle.
Bailey was issued tickets for driving while intoxicated and an appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana, all returnable to the Town of Scio court in October.
