CLARKSVILLE — A 62-year-old Clarksville man was charged on Sunday with unlawful growth of cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana.
According to New York State Police, Trooper went to the residence of Thomas R Williams around 7:30 p.m. to interview him on an unrelated investigation. While interviewing Williams in his residence, Troopers saw five marijuana plants growing near to the front door. Williams was then arrested for unlawful growth of cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana.  
Williams was transported to SP Amity for processing and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarksville court in October.
