SINCLAIRVILLE — A 23-year-old Mayville man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Friday.
According to New York State Police, Chad Snow was pulled over on County Route 380 for traffic violations. The Trooper smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle while speaking to Snow and Snow surrendered a glass bowl containing marijuana residue and a bag containing six grams of marijuana upon questioning. A passenger and the vehicle were searched with negative results.
Snow was issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Gerry Court and released. He is to appear in the Town of Gerry Court next month to answer the charge.
