BROCKPORT — Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) extended her shutout streak to 349 minutes and 55 seconds and Buffalo State earned its third-consecutive win, defeating host Brockport, 1-0, today in SUNYAC action.

Catherine Mammoser (Eden/Eden) provided all of the offense the Bengals needed in the 77th minute, scoring her third of the season after taking a breakaway pass from Melissa Smith (N. Tonawanda/Niagara Wheatfield). The Bengals dominated the Golden Eagles for large stretches of the contest, outshooting Brockport 23-7, including 11-3 in a scoreless first half. Carillo needed to make just five saves for her fourth shutout of the season.

Buffalo State will look to remain unbeaten in SUNYAC play next Saturday when it hosts Fredonia for a 1 p.m. “Battle by the Lake” contest.
