BROCKPORT — Buffalo State suffered a pair of straight-set defeats, falling to Cortland and host Brockport today in SUNYAC play.
Riley Chapman (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) led the Bengals with eight kills and added seven digs and two blocks against Cortland. Dana Mancuso (Kenmore/Kenmore West) contributed seven kills, and Victoria Rigler (Amherst/Sweet Home) added 13 digs. Katherine Marte (Ithaca/Ithaca) finished with 14 assists.
In the Brockport game, Mancuso had four kills to go with 10 digs and two aces. Lauren Hansen (Blue Point/Bayport Blue Point) also had four kills. Tina DiBlasio (Cheektowaga/Cleveland Hill) added 11 assists and five digs.
Buffalo State will travel to the Fredonia tournament next weekend and will open with Hilbert on Friday at 7 p.m.
