She was employed at AT&T Phone Company as a long distance operator, and at Korff’s Furniture Store in Lockport. Mae enjoyed trips to Cape Cod and to Vermont with friends and family for many years. Her passion in life was decorating her home for each holiday, and Christmas was her favorite time of year. For more than 50 years her home was lit for passersby to enjoy.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to MDA of WNY or to the Autism Society of WNY would be appreciated by the family.
