Lila was born in Newfane, NY on November 3, 1925, the daughter of the late Ernest and Elisa Poeller Schultz. She was a member Ladies Aid at St. Peters Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She worked at the Lockport Felt Co. before she married Nelson in 1955 and was the dog census taker for the town of Newfane.
Mother of Marian (Randy) Roeseler of Lockport, NY, Rosemarie Abrams of Lockport, NY, Howard (Kathy) Snow of Lancaster, NY, Charles (Esther) Snow of Middleport, NY and the late Audrey Snow. Sister of the late Paul F. Schultz. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Friday from 4 – 7PM. Funeral Services will be held on SATURDAY at 11AM in St. Peters Lutheran Church 4169 Church Rd. Lockport, NY 14094. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Peters Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.
