YORKSHIRE — A 31-year-old Bradford, Pa. man was charged Sunday night with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on State Route 16.
According to New York State Police, Troopers stopped Brian W. Wedge around 8:40 p.m. for inadequate tail lights and determined to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Machias Troopers’ barracks and found to have a .17 percent blood alcohol content.
Wedge was arraigned at the Town of Machias Court and transported to Cattaraugus County Jail, where he was held on $2,500 bail.
