LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Niagara women’s golf team completed the Bison Invitational, hosted by Bucknell, on Sunday. The team carded a 36-hole total of 668 (+108) and finished in third place.

Emily Doyle finished in second place, leading the Purple Eagles. She fired a 78 (+8) in the second round for a total two-day score of 152 (+12).

Selena Cerra tied for eighth place; she carded a 161 (+21) total. Freshman Daniella Hopper took 15th place. She shot 85 (+15) in the second round for a 36-hole total of 172 (+32).

Britteny Purcell finished in 18th place with a total of 183 (+43). Samantha Bernardo, who carded a 36-hole total of 190 (+50), tied for 23rd.

The Purple Eagles compete next at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational in Rochester, Mich. on Sept. 26-27.
