ITHACA — The Canisius golf team posted a two-round score of 628 and sit in 13th place in the annual Cornell Invitational, which is being played at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.

Canisius freshman David Hanes shot back-to-back rounds of 76 on Saturday. He is tied for 27th in the field. Sophomore John Dantonio carded a to-round total of 155 to earn a tie for 42nd place.

Siena leads after the first 36 holes of the event with a team score of 591. Colgate’s Ryan Skae holds the 36-hole lead after he posted rounds of 70 (one under par) and 67 (four under par) on Saturday.

The third and final round at the Cornell Invitational is set for Sunday morning.
