BUFFALO — The Theatre District Association will present Curtain Up! 2016 on Friday throughout Buffalo’s historic Theatre District with a diverse line up of 15 professional theatrical productions.

The 35th annual event includes award-winning comedies, musicals and dramas, as well as cocktails and a creative black-tie gala dinner on the majestic main stage of Shea’s Buffalo Theatre. When the theatres let out at 10 PM, the Theatre District comes alive on Main Street with food trucks, cash bar and free outdoor entertainment.

“This event continues to grow year after year because of the strength and creativity of our theatre community, but more importantly, because of the passion and dedication of our patrons, said Theatre District Association President Tony Conte. “We’re excited about what’s in store for this year’s event and hope you will come on down and support the opening of Buffalo’s Theatre Season.”
