BUFFALO — A 25-year-old Buffalo man was charged early Thursday morning with driving while intoxicated after New York State Police say he was found sleeping on the shoulder of Interstate 190.

According to NYSP, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Troopers out of SP Clarence and Boston checked a 2013, black Kia, on Interstate 190-southbound that was stopped on the shoulder. The Troopers attempted to awaken the driver who appeared to be asleep or passed out. Upon getting a response from the driver, he was identified as Bruce Wilson. He was determined to be intoxicated and charged.

Wilson was taken to SP Clarence, where he refused to submit to a chemical test and was processed. Later he was released to a third party and ordered to appear before the City of Buffalo Court on Sept. 22.
