WEST SENECA — A Buffalo woman and a Niagara Falls man are due in court today after West Seneca Police say they forced their way into a Bellwood Avenue man’s home, assaulted and stole from him.

According to police, Gabrielle Olejniczek, 19, went to the Bellwood Avenue home around 11 p.m. Sunday, asking the resident if she could borrow money. While she was at the door, her boyfriend, 27-year-old Robert Lansberry climbed into the home through a window and attacked the resident. Lansberry reportedly hit the victim in the head with a bakewear dish, threatened to kill him and his young daughter. The pair then fled with cash, a cell phone and cigarettes.

Lansberry was later apprehended in Niagara Falls and Olejniczek was arrested in Buffalo. He was charged with robbery, burglary and assault before behind held at the Erie County Holding Center on $25,000 bail. She was charged with petit larceny and released on their own recognizance.
