ORCHARD PARK — The Buffalo Bills have signed CB Doran Grant, WR Matt Hazel, G Gabe Ikard and LB Max Valles to the team’s practice squad.

Grant, a 5-11, 192-pound Ohio State product, originally entered the NFL in 2015 as a fourth round pick (121st overall) of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Grant appeared in three games in 2015 for the Steelers. Grant, 23, is a native of Akron, Ohio.

Hazel, a 6-1, 201-pound Coastal Carolina product, originally entered the NFL as a sixth round pick (190th overall) of the Miami Dolphins in the 2014 NFL Draft. The former Chanticleers wideout finished his collegiate career ranking second in school history in both receiving yards (2,553) and touchdowns (28). Hazel, 24, is a native of North Augusta, South Carolina.

Ikard rejoins the Bills after spending time with the team during the 2015 season. Ikard originally entered the NFL in 2014 as an undrafted free agent of the Tennessee Titans. The 6-4, 304-pound Oklahoma product spent his rookie season on injured reserve. Ikard played in 52 games with 50 starts in his college career at Oklahoma. Ikard, 25, is a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Valles joins the team’s practice squad after being released by the Bills on September 2. The 6-4, 250-pound Virginia product originally entered the NFL as a sixth round pick (179th overall) of the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. Valles played two seasons at Virginia, seeing action in 22 games with 16 starts, totaling 78 tackles (32 solo), 13 sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one INT and 12 passes defensed. Valles, 22, is a native of Sicklerville, NJ.

The Bills also announced that FB Dan Vitale has been released.
