DANSVILLE — The New York State Festival of Balloons starts tonight with a balloon glow at dusk.

The five-day festival includes music, vendors, arts and crafts, food, a classic car show, and — of course — balloon rides; Tethered rides are $15 for adults, while non-tethered cost $200.

It’s $5 to enter the festival (entrance is on Maple Street). Pets and alcohol are prohibited.

Now in its 35th year, the festival averages 35,000 people annually. For more information, visit NYSFOB.com.
