According to the theater’s Facebook page, “Our summer schedule ends on Labor Day weekend. We will remain open every night through Monday, September 5, and be closed on Tuesday, September 6, through Thursday, September 8. Our fall schedule begins on Friday, September 9, when we begin weekends only operation, showing movies on Friday through Sunday nights.”
The drive-in has no set closing date. It’s largely weather dependent with operations remaining open on weekends as long as the weather allows — typically mid-November.
“Some seasons are shorter, while some can run longer, depending on the weather from year-to-year,” according to drive-in owner Rick Cohen.
Last season, the drive-in was open until mid-January, in part due to the mild winter and in part due to the drive-in deciding to show Star Wars: Episode VII.
