BUFFALO — Could there be a better place to hold a book launch for a book of presidential haikus than Founding Fathers Pub?

Probably not.

“Haiku to the Chief,” a collection of 43 haikus, was actually released earlier this summer so tonight’s party is more promotion than launch, actually, but the free event promises to be entertaining as well as educational.

The 7 p.m. event will feature readings from Max Crinnin, Aidan Ryan, Justin Karcher, Ben Brindise, and others, before the book’s author Gerry Crinnin makes the pages speak to patrons.

Even if you end up not liking the book, you’re at Founding Fathers. There’s food and beer.

If you can’t make it to the launch party, the book is available at Talking Leaves Books as well as online at gumroad.com/ghostcitypress.
