ORCHARD PARK — The Bills have signed QB Austin Trainor — a fourth quarterback for the team. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Trainor, a 6-2, 212-pound West Georgia product, will be making his second stint with the Bills after participating with the team on a try-out basis during the team’s 2015 rookie minicamp.

Several Bills starters sat during the third pre-season game of the year on Saturday and even more are expected to sit out on Thursday, the final pre-season game for the 2016 season, which will allow for — and possibly necessitate Trainor racking up considerable playing time.

In addition to West Georgia, Trainor spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Florida A&M University. Trainor is a native of Tallahassee, Florida.
