KENNEDY — A 30-year-old Frewsburg man was charged Friday with aggravated DWI after reported trying to strike an Amish buggy with his vehicle.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to Route 62 after getting reports that a vehicle had repeatedly attempted to strike an Amish buggy and horse — a report they say was corroborated by the interview of witnesses.

Upon arrival, they located Ryan Fusco behind the wheel of his vehicle in what appeared to be an intoxicated condition. Fusco was placed under arrest and transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .21. Fusco was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the Town of Poland Court, and released.
