SCRANTON, Pa. — Cameron Hughes of Fairport served as part of a team of three Student Orientation Team Leaders at The University of Scranton this summer.

The team leaders helped to organize four summer orientation sessions designed to introduce incoming students and their families to the University’s procedures, facilities and support services, and to provide the new students with the opportunity to meet with faculty, administrators and staff, as well as each other.

They also joined with University administrators, faculty and more than 50 student orientation assistants, to welcome the 1,018 members of the University’s Class of 2020 and their families to campus for the fall semester.

Hughes is majoring in biology at Scranton.
