BUFFALO — Huge things are happening in the city. And huge things are coming to the city. Specifically, the World’s Largest Rubber Duck, which is in town this weekend for the 4th Annual Buffalo Maritime Festival.

Mama Duck is in the Queen City, being “assembled” now. The World’s Largest Duck, a 61-foot tall, 23,000-pound inflated plastic and steel duck, will be stationed in the Buffalo River, just south of (and clearly visible from) Canalside from Friday morning until Sunday evening. Her duckling, Timmy, arrived last week to scout the place out.

The World’s Largest Rubber Duck is just one of the many things going on around the harbor this weekend as part of the Maritime Festival, three days of live music, local food and, of course boats.
