SCIO — A 58-year-old Scio man was charged Wednesday with disobeying a court mandate.

According to New York State Police, Troopers had responded to an address on Hunter Road for two men having a verbal altercation.

Troopers arrived and interviewed a man who said Ronald Forgue had been in his driveway yelling at him when he returned home. The man had a stay away order against Forgue from Allegany County Family Court.

Forgue was then arrested and processed at SP Amity, arraigned in the Town of Scio Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $2,500 bail. He is to reappear in the Town of Scio Court later this month.
