This week’s recipe is delicious and easy. It uses some prefab items, gives you that homemade flavor with the help of boxed stuffing and a jar of spaghetti sauce. I love this meat dish,my mom always made everything from scratch but with my work schedule, this worked this way for me this past week.

1 1/2 # round steak sliced, thin
1 box of cornbread stuffing
1 jar Prego, spaghetti sauce

Make stuffing according to directions on box, and let cool.
Place each slice of meat in between saran wrap, and pound out, to a little thinner, like an 1/8 of inch.

Take 2T of stuffing, and place on each piece of meat, roll up and secure with toothpicks.

Heat 1/4 c oil in frying pan, season the rolls with salt, pepper, and granulated garlic, sear, until brown on all sides. Place in crockpot, and add the spaghetti sauce to cover the meat. Cook on low for 6 hours.

Remove, serve with some cooked pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

You can add a lot of variety to this dish very easily. For example before placing the stuffing on the pounded meat, add half a slice of thin sliced provolone cheese, then your stuffing, and roll the meat. When you add the sauce you can add in some sliced mushrooms, onions, or even green peppers. Put your own flair on it, it’s very easy.
