AMHERST — The University at Buffalo is offering expanded bus service for UB students to three entertainment districts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

According to the university, the expanded schedule comes following a pilot program last year.

The university will offer service from the North Campus to select Maple Road attractions from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday and Saturday nights. This area includes dining and entertainment options including AMC Theaters, Anchor Bar and Planet Fitness.

Friday nights, the university will offer service to the Walden Avenue entertainment area from 7 p.m. until 2 a.m. from both the North and South campuses. This will allow students transport to and from places such as Galleria Mall and other dining and shopping venues in the area.

Saturday nights, service will be offered from both campuses to the Transit Road entertainment area including Eastern Hills Mall, Rocky’s and Regal IMAX Theater.

The university also offeres busins to area grocery stores. Direct service to Dash’s Market will run Sunday afternoons from 2 – 9 p.m., while direct service to Wegmans on Alberta will be offered Wednesday evenings from 5 – 9:00 p.m,
