YORKSHIRE — A 22-year-old Delevan man was charged early this morning with felony driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on State Route 16.

According to New York State Police, Chad M. Perrington was stopped around 2:02 a.m. and found to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Machias Troopers barracks for processing, where he was found to have a .10 percent blood alcohol content.

Perrington was also charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle without and interlock device.

He was arraigned in the Town of Yorkshire, and released to appear at a later date.
