Catherine Mc Govern Sewar passed away on August 11, 2016.
She was predeceased by her brother Terry McGovern, her sister Eileen Hill and son K. Michael Sewar. She is survived by her loving husband Laverne H. Sewar who she married in 1955. She is the mother of Michele (Arthur) Seefeldt. Her survivors include her three special granddaughters Jennifer (Michael) Woods Durham, Carleen Woods Knarr and Ashley Sewar. She also leaves behind seven wonderful great grandchildren. Catherine will also be missed by her special niece Terri (James) Hill McNabb of Denver, CO.
She was the Office Manager for Chester Grove, Attorney at Law in Lockport for forty two years. A private graveside burial will be held Saturday, August 13 at one o’clock in Corwin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
