BUFFALO — Buffalo Police are investigating three shootings that occurred within just over an hour and all within a one-mile radius.

The first shooting happened just after 1 a.m. on the 100 block of Maple Street. A victim in the shooting was reportedly taken to Buffalo General with unknown injuries.

Approximately an hour later, police responded to the 200 block of Sherman Street where three people were reported shot. A 21-year-old Buffalo man died on the scene. The injuries of the other two were not disclosed.

And moments later, BPD was called to the 500 block of Hickory Street, where a man was reportedly shot in the arm. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center.

Police have not said if the three shootings are related but are asking anyone with information on any of the incidents to call the confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
